The Claridge Hotel is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and functionality of the property. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized manner
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Assist with inspections and special projects as needed
• Communicate effectively with other departments regarding maintenance needs

Qualifications
Qualifications
2+ years of maintenance or facilities experience (hotel experience preferred)
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
Experience performing preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Comfortable using work order systems or maintenance tracking software
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Certifications & Requirements
EPA Section 608 Certification
HVAC Certification or formal trade school training
Preferred Additional Certifications
CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
OSHA 10 Certification
Additional trade certifications (electrical, plumbing, or mechanical)
