Very well maintained original Art Deco style hotel, ocean view rooms beautiful views of ocean. Quieter because they’re no casinos which I loved. Beach and boardwalk are 2 minutes away but far enough that you don’t hear any noise. Service from bel hops to desk and resteraunt staff were all wonderful. Will definitely return!
This place is a Hidden Gem. It’s a take away from the contemporary hotel with its antique furniture, rooftop view and bar, the Twenties Italian trattoria food was to die for and Jose S. the server took care of our food and drinks, he was awesome. We wouldn’t get better service anywhere else. We can’t give anything less the am outstanding 5 star recommendation.
The hotel has a wonderful old school charm with lots of brass at the bar and in the elevators. The dining room was beautifully done and the staff were very friendly.
The Claridge was built in 1929 – the first skyscraper on the Oceanfront in Atlantic City. It holds all the charm of Atlantic City during prohibition. Don’t forget to shop hundreds of outlet stores within walking distance.
Excellent
We were in New Jersey for a wedding and stayed in AC at The Claridge. I was drawn to it because of the history and was absolutely not disappointed. From moment you step in, the decor catches the eye! Check in was a breeze, the elevators are so cool but a little confusing so read the signs! Getting to the Vue rooftop bar was like finding a hidden speak easy, so fun. The arcade was a fun addition, the ballroom is a must see and Bally’s being connected was a plus! We took in a comedy show within the hotel after eating dinner at The Twenties restaurant. Service was amazing. The gym was alright though I wish they had a spin bike. We ordered room service and they brought it right into the room and finally, the Starbucks in the lobby made our walks much nicer 🙂 We will definitely be back!
